Happy Sunday!  So sorry for a lack of posts lately, school has been crazy! But, thank God for the weekend, I got a ton of work done.  Anyway, I'm so excited for a little series I'm going to be doing throughout most of February, so I hope you all love it :)  I'm also going to be doing some reviews, a skin care routine, trend updates, product updates, etc.
I've also been thinking about doing some college related posts--eating healthy in college, saving money, working, etc.  Would that be something you would be interested in? Leave a comment and let me know!

Also, let me know what you all want to see from me! :)

Hey everyone!

So this year, on the Golden Globes Red Carpet, there were multiple noticeable trends, one of them being bright yellow dresses!  Perfect for spring, but sort of surprising for winter.  Do you love the look?

DIY: Flower Decor ft. Melting Crayons

Hey everyone!

So, if you follow me on twitter, you know that I did a fun crafty DIY for my sister's birthday present.  Well, I finally gave it to her and here it is:

I got the idea off from here (Pinterest, of course!).  I used Sunflowers because they're my sister's favorite Here's what you'll need:

A Canvas (whatever size you want--Michael's has them!)
Fake Sunflowers-- $8.99 at Walmart
Glue gun
Hair dryer
Crayons- I got the cheapo kind because they're getting melted anyway :)

First, take all the "grassy" colored crayons; greens and yellows, and take off the wrapper.

Line them up along the end of your canvas that you want to be the grass and hot glue them on:

Take a hairdryer and melt the crayons down, however long you want the grass and stems:

Finally, cut your flowers off the stem and hot glue them onto your canvas:

And you're done! You have a creative new piece of wall art! :)  It's super easy, but also kind of messy, so make sure you melt the crayons over a trashcan.  Also, don't hold the hair dryer too close or you'll end up with melted crayon in your hair next time you use it (trust happens!)

Mascara Monday: L'Oreal's Voluminous Millions Lashes Mascara

Hey everyone!

I've decided to start a little segment called "Mascara Monday," when I'll review some of my favorite (and least favorite) mascaras.  So I'm here with a review on one of my favorite mascaras right now, and a ton of you all have asked me to review it, Voluminous Million Lashes from L'Oreal.  I've been using it for about a month and I love it :) It's drugstore, and you can get it everywhere from Target to Ulta to CVS/Walgreens!  Also, it's inexpensive, only about $8.99, and I love the way it works!

This mascara leaves my lashes long and wispy, not chunky and spidery :)  I love it.  Now, let me be the first to admit that I'm a complete mascara SNOB! I'm so picky about the way my lashes look, so if I like a mascara then it means something haha ;)  I would rate this mascara very highly, 4.5/5 .  It's inexpensive, lasts all day and doesn't look clumpy.  I'd definitely recommend it! :)

Like I said, I'm a mascara snob, so I'm always trying new mascaras, so there will be lots of Mascara Monday's coming up! :)

Hope you enjoyed

Review: e.l.f. Essentials Therapeutic Conditioning Lip Balm

Hey everyone!
So if you saw my haul from a little while ago, which you can find here, you'll know I picked up some goodies from e.l.f., or eyeslipsface.  I'm super happy to say that the e.l.f. Essentials Therapeutic Conditioning Lip Balm has superseded my expectations! I love them! They're only $1.00 each, and I got them in Strawberry Creme and Orange Creme:

These seriously are some of the most moisturizing lip balm's I've ever used.  They're almost as moisturizing as Burts Bees chapsticks, just without the minty sting.  They are good for the price, and they feel like they should cost more than they do! I really recommend these for anybody, especially those of you on a budget!
You can get e.l.f. products at target or online, but those are the only places I know of. If you know of somewhere else that sells it let me know!! :)
Hope you enjoyed! <3
