Outfit Inspiration: Memorial Day Casual

Hey everyone!

As most of you all probably know, this weekend is Memorial Day Weekend!  Which for most people means cooking out, swimming and hanging out with friends and family--and if you're from the South, a big bonfire!  If you're me, you're working, but at least I'm a lifeguard so I'll be having fun!  Regardless of your plans, Memorial Day is a day to be comfortable and enjoy yourself!  Here's some ideas of what I would wear for a Memorial Day cookout/bonfire!

Of course, maxi-dresses are totally in style right now, and those would be an awesome option for the weekend as well.  I usually end up running around like a little kid though, so it's safer for me to have shorts on ;)

Quick Update: What to Look For

Hey everyone!

Happy Sunday! I hope you've all had an AMAZING first day of 2012! I know I have, I've been getting some blog ideas in order and typed up, since I go back to school for spring semester on the 11th; and for me school is hectic so the more ahead I can get, the better!

I just wanted to let you guys know what will be coming up soon blog wise! :) 

I'm planning on doing some reviews, mostly on the e.l.f. products I got in this haul, along with some other face products.  I'm also going to be doing some more Style Icon posts, like the one I did on Audrey Hepburn.  I've also got some other random posts coming up, like ones about Bath and Body Works, making stained glass, school organization, etc.  So, make sure you keep checking back for more posts! :)

My 2012 Resolutions!

With new years comes new wishes, hopes and goals.  

For me, new years resolutions are something that I'm really good about for like 2 months, but then as school gets crazy and I'm more and more busy, they fall by the wayside.  Then, I'll randomly remember what my resolutions were and be really good at them for another month or so, then get busy. It's like a long cycle! BUT, this year I've decided that I'm going to do an update blog every once and a while to keep myself on track! So, here it goes, my 2012 resolutions:

1. Keep up with my school work and make all A's

2. Blog at least every other day

3. Work out AT LEAST 3 times a week, preferably more

4. Don't snack as much, even if you do snack on healthy foods

5. Keep your room/apartment more organized

6. Get rid of clothes you don't wear anymore!!

7. Learn to keep up with your finances better (after all, that is your major...)

8. Spend more time with the ones that I love

9. Call your parents at least 2 times a week while you're at school

10. Wash your face every night! EVERY NIGHT!!! 

That's all that I can think of right now, but I'm always adding things to my lists like this! :)

Happy 2012: My New Years Eve and OOTN!

Happy New Year! I can't believe it's already 2012! For me, 2011 was full of surprises, both wonderful and not so wonderful! I'm hoping for nothing but the best for you and your loved ones for this upcoming year!  My New Years Eve was so much fun! First, I went into Atlanta with boyfriend and we went out to eat a nice dinner and walked around Centennial Park.  Then, we went to see the Zac Brown Band (who I'm obsessed with!)

It was so so so much fun! We danced and sang and it was an amazing night, even though I'm quite tired this morning :)

Chanel Spring 2012 Collection: Harmonie De Printemps

I'm SO obsessed with Chanel that it's ridiculous, but I'm even more obsessed with this Spring 2012 collection.  The colors are beautiful and perfect for that beach goddess glow, as well as a night vixen.  I can't wait to checkout, but right now my cart only has the Les 4 Ombres in 33 Prelude and the Le Vernis in 539 June in it.  Obviously, these products are quite pricey, but they are amazing quality (as is everything made by Chanel).  Shop here! Enjoy!
