Your summer has sounded so amazing so far! I'm so jealous! I wish I lived in Cali. It seems like the perfect place to spend summers. I am obsessed with bon fires. I love how they smell. I wish I could have shopping sprees like you've been having. I have to save all my money for France. I leave in 19 days and am kind of freaking out! I seriously cannot wait. Anyway, thanks for your comment again! I honestly love it when I see I've gotten a comment from you. They always perk up my day :)
ReplyDeleteHey! I got your comment on my post with the Britney quote. I'm sorry you feel that way about Britney and completely respect your opinion. However, she did say that she doesn't want to be a role model but an inspiration. More than that though, something I have never backed down from is that Britney is my complete and number one role model. I look up to her not for the mistakes she's made in the past but for the obstacles she's overcome. She is a strong person who has had to get past bad relationships, mental illness which is not a choice but a disease and so many other challenges that most average people wouldn't be able to handle. As for actions such as building houses, I know plenty of people who do charity work similar to the things you've mentioned but when it comes to them as people they are awful and have actually had a hand in bullying me at a point in my life. But Britney did have an organization for several years that strived to give younger people the access to education in the arts, something that is lacking still today. Now, I promise I'm getting off of my Britney soap box lol. Again, I just wanted to let you know I completely respect your opinion but I felt I needed to explain why quotes from her such as this one and just her as a person mean so much to me. :)
